LAWRENCE — Bill Self is well aware of his team’s lack of depth.
Rather than long for reinforcements he doesn’t have, though, the Kansas basketball coach is choosing to view the glass — or bench, as it were — as half full.
“When you look at our team, instead of saying we’re only playing seven, you should say, ‘Well, they have seven starters,’ ” Self said Thursday. “That’s a way you would obviously spin it as a positive, rather than a negative.”
