SAN DIEGO — Bill Self said his players didn’t spend much time talking about their 42-point victory over Montana in the postgame locker room this past Saturday.
Quickly, the conversation turned to KU's next opponent San Diego State, who will host the Jayhawks at 10 p.m. Tuesday.
“We know that they can beat us,” Self said, “because they already have.”
It’s the rare occasion when a KU team has a chance to avenge a nonconference loss.
Two years ago, the Jayhawks were held to their lowest home point total in the Self era in a 61-57 setback against SDSU.
