In probably the most exciting game of the day, Texas nearly blew a 45-24 fourth quarter lead until a freshman long snapper, freshman holder, and freshman kicker nailed a game-winning 40-yard attempt.
The fact that this game was even remotely close at the end is a miracle. OU’s defense looked hapless for most of the game, managing just one (1) stop through the first three quarters.
... the margins between an unbelievable collapse and a program-defining victory were extremely small.
