Sophomore running back Anthony "Pooka" Williams has been reinstated to Kansas football following a lengthy suspension from all team activities.
In December, Williams was arrested for domestic battery and immediately suspended by the school, who kept mum about his fate even after the case was decided. Williams reached a diversion agreement with the Douglas County Attorney's office in March, but only today did we get formal word from AD Jeff Long and head coach Les Miles.
Though Williams is immediately welcome back to team activities, he will have to sit out the season opener against Indiana State.
