Sure, I was nervous before the Royals started ALCS Game Four yesterday afternoon. Yes, they had a 2-1 lead in the series, but Toronto seemed to have picked up some momentum with their 11-8 win in Game Three, a score that was closer than the game really was. Four Royals runs in the ninth made the score respectable, and made the Blue Jays sweat a little, and possibly blunted some of that Toronto momentum, but it was still a win. Even more so, the Royals were sending Chris Young to the mound. It’s not that I think Young is a bad pitcher; indeed, he’s been a solid hurler for Kansas City this year.
