ST. LOUIS -- News that former Royals second baseman Omar Infante had signed a Minor League contract with the Braves was met with a smile from his former manager, Ned Yost.
"He did? He signed with Atlanta?" Yost said. "That's good. I'm glad that he's going to get another shot."
Infante's signing was first reported by MLB Network's Jon Heyman. Atlanta has not confirmed the deal.
