That was fun, wasn’t it? Isn’t that what we’re trying to convince ourselves? That the 2024 season was a blast? In a lot of ways, it was. I mean think about it, they went from 106 losses in 2023 to 86 wins and a playoff berth in 2024. What’s not to like about that?
Maybe I’m alone in this thought, but for some nagging reason, I didn’t enjoy the season, and the playoff run as much as I did the 2014-2015 playoff teams. I can’t put a finger on it. Maybe it’s because once I realized that the Royals were a good team, and they were, I felt like they could have achieved more.
