For the second time in three games, George Brett homered and drove in four runs, leading the Royals to a 9-2 spanking of the Texas Rangers at Royals Stadium.
Brett improved his hitting streak to nine games with his three-run blast to left field in the sixth innings. That iced the game, giving the Royals their final 9-2 cushion.
