The Royals lost to the Twins, 10-6.
They originally led 6-2, but the pitchers picked a bad time to have diarrhea all down their legs.
As a team, the Royals had 17 baserunners and still lost. That does not happen every day.
The entire offense came in a six-run third inning. Alex Gordon ripped a two-run double down the line in right field. Jorge Bonifacio singled him home. And then Salvador Perez, playing for the first time in a week, crushed a three-run bomb for his 24th home run of the season.
At that point, the Royals led 6-2, but it was very shortlived.
