Last year, Royals fans were one person’s candidate for Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year award.
This year, the Royals are up for the award as a team.
Sports Illustrated on Wednesday announced “12 leading contenders for 2015 Sportsman of the Year.” The Royals are among the dozen of candidates.
