If you’ve been reading my posts for awhile, you know that I don’t judge anything a baseball team does until Flag Day. I’d always said you have to wait until May is over before judging a Kansas City Royals season. In the past 20 years, the season has often been over by the time May concludes. Many years ago my friend Cardinal Fan proposed the Flag Day Corollary. Basically it just takes my plan and moves it back 2 weeks (since Flag Day is always on June 14th, that makes 2 weeks….YOU GET KNOWLEDGE OF ALL KINDS HERE!!!!!) You see, when you’ve had a good team for several years in a row, you develop these types of things instead of praying to Blessed Virgin Marry, Allah, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, etc.
