Travis Wood has taken the loss in each of his last two appearances: in Thursday’s 1–0 loss in 13 innings and in Saturday’s 2–1 loss, both coming in Arlington vs. Texas.
Prior to Wood’s back-to-back losses, he had gone 105 consecutive outings without a loss, dating back to Aug. 8, 2015. The streak was tied with teammate Peter Moylan for the longest active streak among players currently on a Major League roster (Sam Freeman, currently pitching in Triple-A in the Braves’ organization, has an active streak of 119 Major League appearances without a loss).
