Kansas City has beaten the reigning AL Cy Young winner in five of the last six seasons, besting Snell, Corey Kluber (2018), Rick Porcello (2017), Kluber (2015) and Max Scherzer (2013). The only exception is Dallas Keuchel, who beat the Royals in his only matchup during the 2016 season.
