Ryan O’Hearn had a career-high-tying three hits in the Royals’ 9–2 win over Baltimore Friday night. He also set a new career high with four RBI, including a two-run single in the sixth and a two-run HR in the eighth.
He’s the seventh Royal with a three-hit, four-RBI effort within his first 21 career games, and first since Irving Falu on July 1, 2012.
O’Hearn, who homered in his Major League debut on July 31 in Chicago, is now batting .257/.333/.600 (18-for-70) with seven HR and 19 RBI through his first 21 career games.
