Peter Moylan inherited a two-on, no-out jam in relief of Matt Strahm in the seventh inning Friday night in San Diego. He proceeded to strikeout the next three batters (two swinging) on 10 pitches (nine strikes).
In doing so, he becomes the third Royals reliever to strikeout all three batters faced in an appearance on 10 pitches or less, joining Aaron Crow (July 24, 2014 vs. Cleveland) and Stan Belinda (Aug. 6, 1994 vs. Seattle).
