Mike Moustakas put Kansas City on the board with a solo home run in the first inning of the Royals’ 7–4 loss on Friday. It was his eighth of the season (sixth solo, all in his last 17 games) and 127th of his career, matching Eric Hosmer and Billy Butler for eighth in Royals history. It was also his 20th HR vs. the White Sox, his most vs. any opponent.
Moose has now homered in six consecutive series (vs. Seattle, vs. Los Angeles, at Toronto, at Detroit, vs. Milwaukee, vs. Chicago), the longest streak by a Royal since his own six-series streak in April 2016.
