Stat of the Day: Home Sweet Home

Danny Duffy went 7–0 in 22 outings (15 starts) at Kauffman Stadium in 2016. The only other pitcher to go at least 7–0 at home in 2016 was Andrew Miller (8–0), who went 5–0 at Yankee Stadium and 3–0 at Progressive Field. Duffy joins Steve Farr (1986) and Larry Gura (1977) as the only Royals ever to finish a season 7–0 at home.

In fact, Duffy hasn’t lost at Kauffman Stadium since September 5, 2015 vs. the White Sox. He’s unbeaten in 15 starts (24 appearances) since, marking the longest streak of home starts without a loss in franchise history, surpassing Kevin Appier (12 straight from 1994–95) and Bret Saberhagen (12 straight from 1986–87).
