The Royals recorded their seventh walk-off win of the season — fourth on the homestand — in Sunday’s 5–4 win over Chicago to mark their fifth straight win and complete their second sweep of the White Sox in as many seasons (also, May 27–29, 2016). It’s the first time they’ve had four walk-off wins in one homestand since April 10–13, 2000.

The Royals are an American League best 24–13 (.649) since June 10 and enter Monday’s series opener in Detroit just 1.5 games behind first-place Cleveland in the AL Central.
