Alex Gordon hit the 150th home run of his career off left handed Jose Quintana in a 10–3 win over the White Sox, snapping an 0-for-21 skid.
He hit 10 home runs over his last 187 at-bats of the season to finish 2016 with 151 HR in his career, sixth most in Royals history, trailing only: George Brett (317), Mike Sweeney (197), Amos Otis (193), Hal McRae (169) and Frank White (160). All five of those ahead of Gordon on the franchise’s home run list are in the Royals Hall of Fame.
