Cheslor Cuthbert recorded his second career multi-home run game and a career-high tying four RBI in Sunday’s 5–4 win over the White Sox. His only other multi-HR game came on June 11, 2016 in Chicago.
Cuthbert’s first HR was a solo shot in the fourth, putting Kansas City on the board — and snapping an 0-for-14 skid. It was his first HR since Aug. 20, 2017 vs. Cleveland, snapping a streak of 109 homerless at-bats.
His second HR came in the fifth, a go-ahead, three-run blast to mark his third career go-ahead HR.
He’s the first Royal to record a HR in back to back innings since Alex Gordon on Aug.
