Slow start and bad defense dooms Royals in 4-2 loss

After falling in Game 1 on Monday afternoon, the Royals did the same in front of a small crowd at Target Field on Tuesday night by a score of 4-2. The loss makes it three-in-a-row for the third time this season.

Cole Ragans was the starter grabbing the ball in hopes of tying up the series. However, Minnesota had a good scouting report to begin the game. The Twins tagged him for two runs in the first on a single from Jose Miranda and forced Ragans to throw 30+ pitches.

The defense wasn’t much help for Ragans, either.
