Due to the sub-freezing temperatures on Sunday in Kansas City, the 1:15 game between the Royals and Angels has been postponed. The clubs will play a makeup game Monday, June 25 at 3:15 p.m., which was a previously scheduled off day for both teams.
Fans that had tickets for today’s game can use them for the makeup game.
When news of the postponement was announced at Kauffman Stadium, Royals starting pitcher, Eric Skoglund, was throwing on the field. When he was finished, he took time to sign autographs for fans down the first base line and apologized for the postponement.
