Fans knew it was coming, but it still stung to see the Royals lose their 100th game of the season with a 2-1 defeat Wednesday at Pittsburgh.
“It stinks to get a hundred losses, but you know what?” manager Ned Yost told The Athletic’s Rustin Dodd after the game. “Again, the thing I look at right now and I feel much better about is we’re making progress.
