The Royals may no longer be World Series champions, but they will still keep a golden look for Friday home games in 2017.
This past season, the Royals were allowed to wear gold-trimmed uniforms and hats because they were the 2015 World Series championship.
In a news release, the team wrote: “Due to overwhelming fan response and popularity, a revised gold-trimmed jersey and cap will be worn for Friday home games in 2017.
“The club will wear specially-designed Majestic jerseys and caps from New Era. The front of the home white jerseys will feature a blue ‘Royals’ script trimmed in gold thread and gold numerals trimmed in blue.
