Royals unveil 2025 schedule

MLB unveiled the 2025 schedule for next year, with the Royals opening the season at home against the Guardians, breaking their streak of two consecutive seasons at home against the Twins. The Royals opened the 2022 season at home against the Guardians, when Bobby Witt Jr. made his MLB debut.

The schedule includes “ATH”, which stands for the Athletics, who are scheduled to play next season in Sacramento, although it is still unclear what they will be called. The schedule is balanced, with 13 games against American League Central teams, 6-7 games against other American League clubs, and three games against each National League team except the Cardinals.
