After signing with the Kansas City Royals once spring training was already underway in 2015, Chris Young reportedly has decided to get things done a little earlier this year. Jeffrey Flanagan reports that he has reached an agreement to re-sign with the Royals even before the new year with a physical pending. It’s yet to be seen how Young will be utilized, but you’d have to assume it would be in a similar manner he was used in 2015, when he was so successful. Young went 11-6 with a 3.06 ERA in 34 games (18 starts) for the Royals in 2015 and followed that up with a 1-0 record in the postseason with a 2.
