Major League Baseball announced today that Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas has been named to the American League All-Star team via the Final Vote presented by Esurance. Fans were able to vote for Moustakas through several forms of online/mobile ballots throughout the week as well as by Tweeting the hashtag: #VoteMoose today.
Moustakas, 26, will be participating in his first All-Star Game, which is scheduled for Tuesday, July 14 at Cincinnati’s Great American Ballpark.
