Royals Rumblings - News for March 13, 2025

Bobby Witt Jr. seems to have avoided the worst after being plunked in the forearm yesterday:

The Royals’ shortstop did not suffer a fracture, the team announced, with X-rays coming back negative. He’s dealing with a left forearm contusion and will continue to be evaluated in the coming days.

The fifth starter spot seems to be down to Daniel Lynch IV and Kris Bubic:

That assumption hasn’t changed, but Lynch’s performance this spring has made it more interesting. The 28-year-old has a 1.80 ERA across 10 innings (four games), with his fourth start of the spring scheduled for Thursday against the Padres.
