The Royals released their tentative 2016 Spring Training schedule today. They open play on March 2 against the Texas Rangers in Surprise, then play them again the next day. In fact, they play the Rangers five times in a month, no surprise since they are neighbors in Arizona. The first scheduled night game is March 18 against the Rangers. The Royals also play night games on March 22 against the Dodgers and March 29 against the Giants.They face off against their 2014 World Series opponent on March 25 as well.
On March 18 and 19 the Royals play two games against the Rangers in San Antonio, Texas at the Alamo Dome.
