Kansas City Royals prospect Nick Pratto was named the Most Valuable Player of the South Atlantic League All-Star Game after leading the South Division to a 9–5 victory over the North Division on Tuesday.
Pratto finished 2-for-5 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored.
Serving as the designated hitter, Pratto drove in a pair with a single off White Sox (Kannapolis) prospect Jake Elliott in the third inning.
The 19-year-old connected for a two-run blast off Washington Nationals (Hagerstown) prospect Nick Raquet in the fifth inning.
