The Pacific Coast League announced its end-of-season All-Stars on Monday, including Omaha Storm Chasers southpaw Foster Griffin on the list as the left-handed starting pitcher. He’s the first Omaha player named to the All-PCL team since 2014, when catcher Francisco Pena made the cut, as well as the first Omaha pitcher since fellow southpaw Ryan Verdugo in 2012.
This is the first end-of-season All-Star selection for Griffin, who was named a midseason All-Star in 2017, with Advanced-A Wilmington and in 2018, with Double-A Northwest Arkansas. He’s also been honored a Texas League Pitcher of the Week (June 25, 2017), named an MiLB.
