After a rocky start to the season, Royals right-hander Chien-Ming Wang had been a key contributor during the bullpen’s recent string of success.
In his last five outings, Wang has a 1.64 ERA over 11 innings and opponents hit .225 against him in that span. That included two shutout innings in the Royals’ 5-4 loss to the Yankees in 10 innings on Tuesday night.
