Since the Kansas City Royals won the World Series, the biggest question around the team was whether or not Alex Gordon would remain in Kansas City or go somewhere else. You can find articles all over the internet explaining why the Royals should sign him and some saying why they shouldn’t sign him. I think I’ve made it very clear through words on the aforementioned internet that I believe it is in the best interests of the team to go ahead and give him the deal he’s looking for (or something close), but I haven’t seen the reason I’m about to give you.
