Royals hope series with Rangers won’t be affected by bad weather

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in North Texas that extends through Wednesday night. The sky is gray near Globe Life Park in Arlington, and the winds are active.

But a quick scan of the forecast shows the Royals should be able to play Tuesday’s game against the Rangers. There is the possibility of showers at 7 p.m., but only five percent, according to weather.com. The percentage rises to 50 percent around 2 a.m.

So hopefully the team can avoid a repeat of Sunday’s marathon in Detroit.
