Royals close out season’s first half with 10-1 loss

The Royals lost again. It’s probably because Steve Physioc was calling the game.

The first half of the season is finally over, and Kansas City’s record is 27-68. They had never been 40+ games under .500 at the break, but here we are. I’ve never seen anything quite like that.

On Sunday, it was a 10-1 defeat to the White Sox that concluded the worst first half in Royals history. They decided to start Burch Smith and somehow thought that he would hold it down, I guess.

The only offensive highlights came in the eighth inning.
