The Royals agreed to one-year contracts Friday with three of their seven players who filed for arbitration: outfielder Jarrod Dyson, right-handed reliever Louis Coleman and backup catcher Tony Cruz.
The club did not announce terms, but Dyson settled for $1.725 million, Cruz for $975,000 and Coleman for $725,000, a source with knowledge of the contracts told The Star. The terms were first reported by MLB Network’s Jon Heyman.
Center fielder Lorenzo Cain, third baseman Mike Moustakas, left-hander Danny Duffy and catcher Drew Butera are the Royals remaining unsigned players who’ve filed for arbitration. Players and teams are set to exchange figures Friday.
