Royals acquire Nava in trade with Angels

KANSAS CITY -- The Royals announced on Monday night that they acquired outfielder Daniel Nava in a trade with the Angels for a player to be named or cash considerations.

Nava hit .235 with one home run in 45 games with the Angels this season. He owns a career average of .263, and previously spent time with the Red Sox and Rays before signing a one-year contract for $1.375 million with the Angels in December.
