TORONTO --The roof at Rogers Centre will be closed for Game 3 of the American League Championship Series between the Blue Jays and the Royals on Monday (7 p.m. ET air time on FOX Sports 1 and Sportsnet, with game time slated for 8 p.m.).
Per Major League Baseball policy, the decision on whether the roof at the Toronto stadium is open or closed for postseason games is made by the Commissioner's Office.
The Blue Jays provide MLB with access to its on-field operations department, and the decision is based on the same criteria the team uses during the regular season.
