KANSAS CITY -- Monday night's game between the Royals and Rays at Kauffman Stadium scheduled for 7:10 CT was postponed due to rain and the threat of tornadoes in the area.
About 90 minutes prior to game time, the stadium staff evacuated all fans and personnel into the underground tunnels. The postponement announcement came about 20 minutes later. Fans were kept in the underground tunnels until the tornado threat passed.
