Noah Wilson, the Olathe boy whose fight against cancer and passion for the Royals made him a celebrity during Kansas City’s run to the 2014 World Series, died Tuesday night at age 7.
Noah had Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer.
Noah’s story attracted national attention during the World Series. He watched from his hospital bed as the team advanced in postseason play. His parents, Scot and Deb Wilson, watched with him.
A family friend started an online movement to get Noah to a World Series game, and soon he had many friends in and out of the sport.
