Royals skipper Ned Yost met with the media in the dugout ahead of Kansas City’s series opener against the New York Mets.
Ned provided rehab updates on southpaw Danny Duffy (left hamstring strain) and Adalberto Mondesi (left shoulder subluxation), both of whom are on the 10-day Injured List.
Duffy threw a simulated game today and Ned said Duffy had life to his pitches. The next step is to reevaluate how he feels tomorrow before deciding if Duffy will throw another sim game or go to a minor league affiliate for a rehab start.
