MINNEAPOLIS -- Royals fans got another glimpse of the potential future when shortstop Adalberto Mondesi blasted a three-run home run in the second inning against the Twins on Tuesday night at Target Field.
With Hunter Dozier and Alcides Escobar on base, the switch-hitting Mondesi, hitting from the left side, pounced on a 2-2 fastball from Twins starter Aaron Slegers and jolted it onto the walkway beyond the right-field seats.
The homer traveled a projected 400 feet, according to Statcast™.
