MLB, MLBPA donate $1M to NLB Museum

KANSAS CITY -- Since the early 1990s, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum has been one of the great attractions for fans and for players of teams who come to play at Kauffman Stadium.

And now, the NLBM has garnered financial support from Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association, as the two organizations announced Wednesday that they were jointly contributing $1 million to the museum.

MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred and MLBPA executive director Tony Clark will speak at a joint news conference from the Museum at 11:30 a.m. ET, and you can watch a live stream of the event here.
