For the second leg of my five day minor league tour I headed to Greeneville, Tennessee for an Appalachian league matchup between the Burlington Royals and Greeneville Astros. If you have never been to Greeneville I wouldn’t be surprised as it is a little bit out of the way in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains.
The complex the Astros play in is much more nice than I was expecting as it is apart of a I-AA university. Along with the solid playing conditions the fans that attend are top notch at supporting their Astros squad, sticking around on this night for all 11 innings while providing enthusiasm throughout.
