Royals catching prospect Meibrys Viloria delivered a walk-off single to lift the Arizona Fall League All-Star West team to a 7–6 win over the East on Saturday. The game was held at Surprise Stadium, which hosts the Royals during Spring Training.
Viloria’s walk-off hit capped a 2-for-3 effort. He was the only player on the West roster to record multiple hits, despite not entering until the sixth inning as a replacement.
Fellow Royals prospect, Khalil Lee, went 0-for-1 with a walk and scored a run. He was also credited with an outfield assist at home plate.
