NEW YORK -- Royals manager Ned Yost said that he will most likely stick with right-hander Kris Medlen for his next scheduled start, on Sunday against the Braves at Kauffman Stadium.
"More than likely," Yost said. "We're still talking [with the coaching staff], but probably."
Medlen's ERA ballooned to 7.77 after his second successive poor outing on Tuesday in the Royals' 10-7 loss to the Yankees.
Medlen gave up a career-high nine runs (six earned) in his previous start, against the Nationals, then gave up four runs in two-plus innings on Tuesday.
Yost, though, doesn't have many options.
