The bad week of baseball continued on Tuesday night as the Royals were thumped by Cleveland 7-1. It extends the losing streak to seven games with 22 to go.
The offense remained quiet for the better part of five innings against Guardians right-hander Tanner Bibee. On the other hand, Brady Singer wasn’t too bad himself. Despite a bases-loaded jam in the second inning that led to Cleveland’s first run, Singer was pretty good. In total, he tossed 5 2⁄3 innings and allowed just two runs.
In the bottom of the sixth, the Royals had an opportunity to erase all the pain of the last six games.
