It’s easy to look at the Royals record of 30-51 and think that everything is a total disaster. And it honestly probably is mostly a total disaster, but the last couple of weeks have reconfigured my thoughts on this team just a little bit and I’m starting to wonder if there is a quicker turnaround possible. Before you laugh too hard, I don’t think that turnaround can happen with Mike Matheny or Cal Eldred in their current positions and likely would be quite difficult if Dayton Moore continues to have a huge role in the baseball decisions. But the Royals are now 13-14 in their last 27 games.
