MLB.com announced its Prospect Team of the Week on Monday for the first 11 days of the season, and Royals No. 1 prospect, Khalil Lee, was one of three outfielders selected.
In nine games, Lee hit .387/.513/.742 (12-for-31) for Advanced-A Wilmington with six runs, three doubles, one triple, two home runs, six RBI and three stolen bases. Through games played on Sunday, he led the Carolina League in on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS (1.255).
Lee was named an MiLB.com Organization All-Star for the second time in 2017 after tying for second in the South Atlantic League in home runs (17) and ranking third in walks (65).
