Kansas City will be represented by two prospects in Saturday’s Arizona Fall League All-Star game, as outfielder Khalil Lee and catcher Meibrys Viloria have been selected to the AFL West rosters.
Lee, the Royals’ No. 2 prospect according to MLB.com, has eight RBI in 11 games, including a double and a home run on Oct. 16. The Royals’ third-round pick out of Flint High School (Va.) in 2016 hit .263 with a .382 on-base percentage and 16 steals in 100 games between Advanced-A Wilmington and Double-A Northwest Arkansas this season.
